OSSEO, Mich. — Francesbelle Johnson, 82, of Osseo, Mich., passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014.

She was born December 26, 1931, to Winifred (Greenman) and Darrell Bragington in LaGrange County, Ind. She married Eugene Johnson on September 30, 1949, in Auburn, Ind.
Frances was a member of the Osseo, Mich., Methodist Church and McCalls Chapel in Branford, Fla.
"Fran," as her friends called her, spent most of her life as a nursing caregiver. She worked at Elmhurst Hospital in Angola, Maple Lawn and the Medical Care Facility in Hillsdale, and finally, Carriage Inn in Coldwater.
Fran and Eugene lived in northern Indiana and southern Michigan, but they spent 21 years as snowbirds in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Winifred Bragington, and one sister, Darrelenne "Peg" Porter of Live Oak, Fla.
Fran is survived by her husband, Eugene; two children, Steven (Deborah) Johnson of Osseo, Mich., and Melinda Johnson of Camden, Mich; seven grandchildren, Brent Johnson of Osseo, Tracy Kemmerling of Muskegon, Nicole Antonides of Kendallville, Ind., Joseph Harvey of Coldwater, Sam Everline of Camden, James Feningsdorf of Camden and Amber Annus of Montgomery; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading, Mich.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Interment will follow in South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County, Ind.
Memorials are suggested to the Breast Cancer Association.
