Baugher, Edward Lee "Big Ed," 85, born February 26, 1929, in Harris, Mo., passed away May 11, 2014. He was a Korean War Veteran, awarded a Bronze Star Medal with Valor Combat Infantry Badge and a Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. He retired as service manager for Wichita Ford Tractor Co. Edward was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, Ford tractor restoration expert and real estate landlord. He met Marjorie on a harvest crew when he was 16 and she was 15 in Ashland, Kan. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Helen (Moore) Baugher; son, Duane Baugher; daughters, Chris Baugher, Kathleen Baugher, Melody Dodge and husband, Dallas Dodge; brothers, Dell Baugher, Ernest Baugher; sister, Connie Thomas all of Missouri; grandchildren, Dakota, Denver and Dalton Dodge. Viewing 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends 6 to 7 p.m.; and funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, May 16, all at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangel Assembly of God Church or The Korean War Memorial Association.
