PRATT - Quint, Martin, 88, died August 15, 2014 at South Wind Hospice, Pratt, KS. He was born June 26, 1926 near Bunker Hill, KS, the son of SP and Margaret (Mahoney) Quint. Martin served as an Army MP in Korea during the Korean War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1451 and Rotary Club, all in Pratt. He was in the dairy business in Russell, KS for 3 years, then was Agency Manager for Farm Bureau in Pratt for 42 years. He loved to fly and spend time with family at Wilson Lake. He married Betty Lou Eagleton on November 8, 1950 in Salina, KS. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Mike (Karen) Quint, Tim (Kris) Quint, Danny (Cindy) Quint, all of Pratt, two daughters, Susan Quint of Wichita, KS, Barbara (Martin) Ibarra of Pratt, a brother, Tom Quint of Greeneville, TN, two sisters, Mary Catherine Ross of Russell, KS, Margaret Ann Hahn of St. Louis, MO, 8 grandchildren, Stephanie Wolff, Joshua Quint, Staci Hunt, TJ Quint, Cami Cunningham, Taylor Ibarra, Kiley Quint, Jacob Quint, and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother, Jim Quint. Visitation will be 1 p.m. 8 p.m., Sunday and 9 a.m. 6 p.m. Monday at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS. Vigil will be p.m., Monday, August 18th at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pratt, KS with Rev. Floyd McKinney presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS. Memorials may be made to South Wind Hospice or Sacred Heart Catholic Church both in care of the mortuary.
