ST. MARK - Winter, Nathan Lee, 30, City of Wichita firefighter, died July 30, 2013, in St. Mark. Visitation 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Colwich; Rosary 7 p.m. Friday; Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Mark Catholic Church; interment at St. Mark Cemetery. Nathan was born Sept. 14, 1982, in Wichita, Kan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Preceded in death by grandparents, Matt Strunk Jr., Margaret Ann Winter; stepgrandmother, Jolene (Maus) Winter; uncles, Brian Winter, Stanley Winter, Kelly Strunk. Survivors include: parents, Fredric and Nancy (Strunk) Winter of St. Mark; brothers, Jared (Trier) of Denver, Colo., Tyler (Michelle) of Wichita; sister, Megan Winter of Austin, Texas; nephew, Dayton Winter; grandfather, Alvin Winter; maternal grandparents, Marcellin and Carol Strunk; great-grandmother, Esther Strunk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wichita Firefighters Museum and Nathan Winter Life Fund.
