Drescher, Norbert Paul, 86, retired Wichita Ponca Canvas Products accountant and office manager, passed away peacefully Friday, July 4, 2014. Paul served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois; son, Joseph; parents, Norbert and Anna (Appelhans) Drescher; sister, Anna (Charles) Childers; brothers, George and John Drescher; brother-in-law, Andy Anderson. Survived by sons, Russell (Carol), Burden; Rian, Wichita; daughters, Amelia (Bill) Ellison, Wichita, Dorene (Wayne) Todd, Watonga, OK, Frances (George) Rauh, Wichita; daughter-in-law, Denise Drescher; sister, Dorothy Anderson, Grove, OK; sister-in-law, Regina Drescher, Moline, IL; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; in-laws, Max (Marge) VanLeeuwen, Wichita, Charles VanLeeuwen, St. Paul, KS; Isabel VanLeeuwen, Dayton, OH, Lorene (Lee) Klein, Wichita.
