Herrman, Scott Charles Jr., 94, retired Wichita Fire Dept. Captain, passed away Tues, Oct 1, 2013. He was born Sept. 28, 1919 to Scott, Sr. and Josephine (Graham) Herrman in Ft. Scott, KS. Prior to his service as a firefighter, Scott served in the US Navy during WWII then came to Wichita to work at Beechcraft for several years. He married his wife of 65 yrs, Dolores, on Sept. 11, 1948. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct 5th at Woodland UMC, 1100 W. 15th St. North. Survivors: wife, Dolores, of the home; daughters, Paula (Mark) Israel, Rene (Terry) Hulse; son, Craig Herrman; 4 grandchildren and 3 gr. grandchildren.
