Leslie Lee Coe Jr. 88, of Kansas City, KS passed away June 4, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 12 at St.Mary's - St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 615 N. 7th KCKS. Visitation 9 to 10AM, Prior to Service. Contributions are suggested to the KCK Fireman's Fund. Leslie was born and raised in KCKS to Leslie Coe Sr. and Nellie Barskdale. Leslie joined the U.S Army and was deployed to Paris, France during WWII. During his time in Paris, he met and wed the love of his life Renee M. Boucher. Leslie and Renee came back to the U.S. by boat in 1953. Leslie joined the KCK Fire Department in 1954 and retired as Operations Chief in 1991. Leslie and Renee also had a dog grooming business, "Leslie Coe's Pet Grooming and Boarding". Proceeded in death by both parents; bothers Billy and Charles Coe; daughter Michelle Livas. He is survived by daughter Carol Hightower; son, Alain and Tylene Jousse; daughter Nicole and Floyd Jones; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
