Daniel David Decker

1949 - 2014

Daniel David Decker, 64, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at his residence.

Born on Dec. 14, 1949, in Culver City, Calif., he was the son of the late Stanley Russell and Juanita Mae (Sharp) Decker. Raised and educated in California, Dan entered the U. S. Army in Dec. 12, 1967, serving during the Vietnam War until his discharge on November 16, 1969.

For six years, he was employed with the City of Kenosha as a driver for the Lakeshore Drive Trolley under his nickname, Dan, Dan the Trolley Man.

Dan enjoyed traveling with family and friends to antique markets, playing cards and board games. He will be remembered for his ability to tell great stories.

He will be deeply missed by his seven children, Katherine Madison, Dianna Scruggs, Yesca (Korey) Olson, Tiffany (Luke) Harding, Sandra Kassa Decker, Keith Knowles and Aaron Ozzy Davis; three brothers, Mike (Pat) Decker, Sam Decker and Bruce Donaldson; 13 grandchildren and his wife, Karen Kay Decker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta High.

In accordance with Dans wishes, no funeral services will be held.
