Donald F. Huebner

1925 - 2014

Donald F. Huebner, 88, of Bristol, Wis., formerly of Mount Prospect, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014.

Born in New London, Wis., on Oct. 24, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Erna (Gorges) Huebner. Don served his country during World Word II in the U.S. Navy. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

On Nov. 27, 1953, he married Nancy Stearns in Evanston, Ill.; she preceded him in death on March 27, 1992.

Survivors include his eight children, Donald (Jean), Barry (Gayle), Orrin (Debby); Scott (Lynette), Chris (Rolean), Heidi (Michael) Schuerstedt, Rebecca (Michael) Piper, and Mary-Esther (Robert) Caldrone; a sister, Jane Fuhrmann; 21 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by grandson, David Huebner; and brother-in-law, Bud Fuhrmann.

A Celebration of Life Service for Don will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Kenosha Bible Church, 5405-67th Street, Kenosha, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Westosha Lakes Church, 24823-74th Street, Salem, Wis. 53168, would be appreciated by the family.
