Fred R. Weyrauch

1948 - 2014

Fred R. Weyrauch, 65, of Burlington, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Aurora Memorial Hospital Burlington.

Born in Burlington on Aug. 22, 1948, he was the son of Russell H. and Isabelle C. (nee Barhyte) Weyrauch. He lived his entire life in Burlington where he graduated from Burlington High School in 1966.

On Aug. 18, 1973, in Norwalk, Wis., he was united in marriage to Cheryl Ruth Wruck.

Fred owned and operated FCF Metal Salvage and was a member of the Lyons Lions Club. He was a devoted grandfather, and a good and helpful friend to many people. He was the one everyone could go to in times of trouble. He loved his mother and was a good brother to his siblings. He was married for 43 years and had a happy life. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed teaching his granddaughter how to fish. He was a great and inventive chef. In his younger days he rebuilt cars and raced them at Lake Geneva Speedway. He was artistic and creative. He lived his life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; son, Freddy Thor (Jamie) Weyrauch; grandchildren, Claire Isabelle Weyrauch and Pacey Thor Weyrauch. He is further survived by his siblings, Ethel (Roger) Seno, Charles

(Arlene) Weyrauch, Jo Weyrauch, Donald (Terry) Weyrauch; niece, Tracey Seno Coleman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Iris Ripely, Virginia Tillman, Robert (Luann) Wruck and Larry (Dody) Wruck, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Isabelle Weyrauch; mother and father-in-law, Lorraine and Laverne Schmitz and sister-in-law, Margerie Kemp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Stars & Stripes Honor Flight, P.O. Box 636, Port Washington, WI 53074 are suggested.

The family would like to thank the Burlington Rescue Squad and Burlington Police Officers.

Services for Fred will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 7:15 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
