KINSTON - William Paul Aldridge, 89, of Kinston went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday February 26, 2013. Paul was a WWII Navy Veteran, a farmer, a fisherman and worked at a tobacco warehouse for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Coombs officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3336 British Road Kinston. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Lewis Aldridge of the home; sons Dennis Paul Aldridge and wife Penny, of Hillsborough, and their children, Preston and John, Jeffery Miles Aldridge and wife Lynda, of Kinston, and their children, Katherine and Douglas; a great-grandchild Ethan; and daughter, Lisa Gail Aldridge of the home.
