BOLTON, ALFRED PIERCE, JR. - age 67, of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday morning, July 15, 2014 at his home. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Alfred was formerly employed with Watson's and Clayton Homes in Knoxville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army. Alfred was a loving husband and father. He loved antique cars and riding dirt bikes with his son. He had a special love for his Cuda. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Bolton, Sr. and Esther Bennett Bolton; and aunt, Jessie Newman. Survived by wife of almost 40 years, Doris Coppock Bolton; son, Tony Bolton and wife, Charity; sister, Myrna Carol Anderson and husband, Don of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Janis Collis of Loudon; niece, Cindy Hensley and husband, Toney of Erin; nephew, Glenn Martin and wife, Tracy; and their daughter, Riley of Church Hill; Bill Collis and Terry Collis both of Loudon. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17th, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Smith officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m., Friday, in the Hickory Valley Cemetery for graveside services with military honors.
