LEACH, BILLY J. - age 81, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born April 20, 1932, in LaFollette. Mr. Leach was a member of Central Baptist Church in Kingston, where he served as a faithful deacon for many years. He was also a United States Army veteran who served his country proudly during the Korean War. He retired from TVA and had over 58 years of carpentry experience. He was a member of Carpenters Local No. 50, out of Knoxville. Billy enjoyed camping, gardening, and was an avid UT football fan. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nell Leach; and sister, Earlene Settles. Survivors: loving wife of 58 years, Bobbie McEvoy Leach of Kingston; sons, Greg Leach and wife, Missy, of Kingston, Brian Leach and wife, Kim, of Kingston; brothers, Jerry Leach, Gordon Leach of Goshen, Indiana, Raymond Leach and wife, Jessie, of Warren, Michigan; grandchildren, Amber, Gregory, Hailey and Brian A. Leach all of Kingston; sister-in-law, Betty Cooper of Kingston; a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013, at Central Baptist Church in Kingston with funeral service following at 8:00 p.m., in the sanctuary, with Bro. Harold Cox officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Bakers Forge Cemetery in LaFollette with full military honors.
