PRICE, GEORGE EDWARD - age 86, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Bearden. George served as a US Marine during the Korean War and then worked as a residential builder before retiring as a sales associate with Kitchen Sales. He loved driving a tour bus as he clocked more than one million miles behind the wheel. George had driven the tour bus through all the continental United States (including Alaska). He enjoyed

woodworking and drawing house plans. George was preceded in death by his parents, George L. and Dolly Price. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Betty B. Price; sons, Bill Price and wife Peggy, Paul Price and wife Jackie; step daughter, Debbie Frame and husband Barry; grandchildren, Renee White and husband Michael, Paula Skeen and husband Mark, Brad Price and wife Kelly, Blake Price and wife Sarah, and Gary Goin; step granddaughter, Blair Reistenberg and husband Dave; several great grandchildren; special friend and brother-in-law, Clarence Bradley. Funeral will be Thursday, 11:00 am at Central Baptist Church, Bearden with Dr. Larry Fields and Dr. Wade Bibb officiating. Family and friends will then travel in procession to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30 pm interment with full military honors presented. In lieu of flowers memorials in George's name may be made to Central Baptist Church, Bearden, 6300 Deane Hill Dr., Knoxville, TN 37919.
