MINCER, GLENN LANE - of Lenoir City went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2013 with his family at his side at his home. Glenn was a devoted husband, father and soon to be grandfather. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida and lived in Denver, Colorado before moving to Tennessee. Glenn was a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed a highly successful career in radio and television advertising sales in Miami, Denver and Knoxville. Glenn enjoyed boating, car racing and watching his son play golf. He served in the Marine Corps, once a Marine always a Marine. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cindy (Muff) Mincer; son, Matthew and his wife Britney; sister, Donna Gannaway and husband Bill; sister Annis Hovey, all of Florida; nieces, Kelly Watson, Kathie Drexler and Cyndi Carter and nephew Tom Watson. A special thanks to the UT Hospice team who so lovingly took care of Glenn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th in the Chapel of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wears Valley Ranch, www.wvr.org.
