BASS, GLENN LEE - passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born in 1948 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and was raised in a military family living in Japan, France, Germany, Illinois, and Alabama. After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, Glenn went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a graduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He remained at UT working as a computer specialist for 28 years. Glenn is survived by his wife, Diane Troy Bass; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Danielle Bass; son, Andrew Bass; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Paula Bass; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kat and Rodger Thompson and Donna and Stan Scroggins. There will be no funeral services. Glenn requested that his body be donated for medical research. Restore Life USA is providing the services.
