FRAKER, HAROLD EUGENE "BUD" - age 85, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he worked as an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and was a 1948 graduate of Central High School. Preceded in death by parents Douglas Grant Fraker and Letha Hale Fraker; and sister Anna Ruth Hamley. Survived by wife of 60 years Louise Norris Fraker; children: Sharon (Mike) Smith, Janet (Dennis) Boyd, Harold Fraker, Doug (Sharon) Fraker, Rachel (Todd) Brengle; grandchildren: David (Jennifer) Boyd, Lauren (Matt) White, Elaine Smith, Andrew (Khaley) Boyd, Jenny Fraker, Sarah McCarty, Grant Fraker, Leanna Fraker, Patrick Fraker, Logan Brengle and Carson Brengle; 8 great-grandchildren and brother William F. "Bill" Fraker; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday at 10:45 AM at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service and interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 5911, Knoxville, TN 37928. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at North Broadway. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Guy Milam officiating.
