ARNOLD, HENRY WILSON - 82, died October 28, 2013, after a short illness. He was the son of school teachers, Wilson and Verona Arnold, and grew up in Camden, TN. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician on the U.S.S. Ajax during the Korean War. In 1958 he graduated from Tennessee Tech with a degree in electrical engineering. He also married Annie Jo Anton in 1958. He worked for International Harvester, General Electric on radar systems, RCA in Memphis, TN, Magnavox in Ft. Wayne, IN, and North American Phillips in Knoxville, TN. He retired in 1994. He and A.J. enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, stayed active playing tennis and hiking, and traveled the world. He once summed it up by saying, "It has all been a great adventure!" He is preceded in death by: parents, Wilson and Verona Arnold; wife, Annie Jo Arnold; sisters, Dorothy King and Frances Oakley; and brother, Daniel Arnold. He is survived by: daughter, Caroline Collier; son, Eric Arnold (Amy); and grandchildren, Kim and Lee Collier. The family will be Receiving Friends on Thursday, October 31st from 5:00-7:00 pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel with the funeral service to begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Ogle officiating. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, November 1st at 11:00 am.
