STAFFORD, WILLIAM LOVE - age 92 of Lenoir City, passed away early Sunday morning, November 10, 2013. Son of the late Jesse J. and Grace Reed Stafford of the Hardin Valley Community. Preceded in death by his wife, Stella Graves Stafford; brothers and sisters: James M., Clifford E. and Reed J. Stafford, Stella Stafford Smith, Faye Stafford Davis, Lucy Stafford Allen, Irene Stafford Long, Elizabeth Stafford, Mary Kate Stafford LeRoy, and Nina Stafford Wallace. Bill is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, June S. and William D. Burch of the Rarity Bay Community; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bradley S. and Beth Edens Redmond, and adored great-granddaughter, Bailey Elizabeth Redmond of Farragut. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City and a Baptist Deacon since 1957. He used his talents his entire life for his church and crafted the cabinets in the Welcome Center as well as other furniture pieces used throughout the present church complex. A World War II Veteran of the United States Army serving in Alaska's Kiska Island Invasion, France, Belgium, Luxenburg and Germany. Bill retired from Yale Security and began his retirement business, "Bill's Wood Shed". The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. A celebration of Bill's life will be held 2:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Dick DeMerchant will be officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Lenoir City Cemetery, Martel Road, with full military honors conferred by the Loudon County Veteran's Honor Guard.
