Harold Reinert, age 84, of Lenoir City, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. Harold served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was retired electrician working at both the K-25 and Y-12 Plants in Oak Ridge. In his younger years, he was an avid boater and private pilot. Harold loved to work in his yard and play the organ.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Davis Reinert; parents, Vernon and Genevieve (Rae) Shackelford Reinert; sister, Jeanne Perdicaris; brothers, John and Richard Reinert; half brothers, John (Jack) Reinert and Phillip (Dan) Reinert. Survived by his children, David (Pat) Reinert, Brian Reinert, and Jeannie (Tim) Schendel; grandchildren: David (Hannah) Reinert Jr., Terry (Heather) Reinert, Nicholas, Kellie and Christopher Reinert, Matthew, Kevin and Amy Schendel; great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Allyson, and Ashley Reinert, Piper Schendel; step daughter, Pamela (Michael) Burchfield; step granddaughter, Stephanie (Matthew) Coleman, Heather (Brandon) Burley; step great-grandchildren, Austin and Maya Burley, and Michael Coleman; half-brother, Earl Reinert; half-sister, Laura Vierling.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Caldwell and Pastor Tony Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: David Reinert, Brian Reinert, David Reinert Jr., Terry Reinert, Nicholas Reinert, Michael Burchfield, Matthew Coleman, and Brandon Burley.
