Annelle Warwick Savitt passed away peacefully at her home on March 25, 2013, in Manhattan. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi to parents Elizabeth and Palmer Hayes, she was raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended University of Texas at Austin where she was discovered by legendary filmmaker, Howard Hawks, who put her under contract at 20th Century Fox Studios, Los Angeles. New York became her home for the last forty years after marrying Richard Savitt, the love of her life. Annelle's passion for beauty and style were realized in her work heading Warwick Interior Design for over twenty five years. Noted projects included the renovation of the private boxes at the previous Yankee Stadium and residences in Paris and Caracas. She is survived by her husband, Dick; two children, Mark Warwick and wife, Kimberly; Arrelle von Hurter and husband, Francois; grandchildren, Max and wife Natalie, Felix, Maia, Roxane and great grandson, Dashel; nieces Renee Grassino and Christie Caviglia; nephews Kevin and Kelly Magowan, Stephen and Greg Hayes. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Alligene Magowan and brother Jimmy Hayes. The family wishes to thank the dedicated team of caregivers.
