We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bryan J. Axelrood, Sunday, March 31, 2013. Bryan was 58 and died shortly after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Bryan died at home surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Bryan was born in Los Angeles to Helene and Maurice Axelrood, raised in Encino, and resided in Brentwood, CA. He married his high school sweetheart, Diane Allen. Their friendship began at age 16 while attending Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, CA. They were married in 1984 and are the proud parents of Katie Axelrood, whom he adored. Bryan completed a BA from UCLA, a law degree from Loyola Law School and also proudly earned two LLM master degrees in both tax and corporate law from Georgtown University. Bryan had a 30 year practice, was a genius with tax code and was a self-proclaimed perfectionist! Bryan had a passion for automobiles, restoring his first vintage classics at 17. He attended Montery/Pebble Beach events annually, since its inception. Known for his quick wit and generous nature, Bryan was devoted to his close circle of friends and family. He leaves his wife, Diane, daughter Katie, sister and brother in law, Morlene and Eytan Keller, neices, nephews, sisters and brother in laws. He will be missed.
