March 12, 1948 - April 20, 2014 Edward J. "Jahn" Bronson was born March 12, 1948, in St. Louis, Mo. He was the eighth and last child of Ruby Graham Walls and the fifth child of Whitfield R. Bronson, both of Tupelo, Miss. Mr. Bronson was a deeply religious man and gifted artist, specializing in portraits. A 1966 graduate of Messmer High School, Milwaukee, Wis., he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and held an AA degree from El Camino College, Torrance, CA. A longtime resident of Los Angeles, CA. and Milwaukee, he also lived 10 years in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Bronson worked for the Social Security Administration, Sears, and as a photographer for several Las Vegas casinos. He died April 20 2014, at his North Hollywood apartment of unknown causes. Mr. Bronson is survived by a daughter, Tracy King and two grandchildren, all of Las Cruces, N.M. He also is survived by three sisters and three brothers, Hattie Robinson (Roosevelt) of Milwaukee, Barbara Gee and Carol Duplessis (Andre), both of San Diego, CA; Fred and James Bronson (Carla), both of Los Angeles and Rowan Bronson (Cynthia) of Virginia, and a hosts of nieces and nephews. A gentle, loving person with a great sense of humor, he will be sorely missed. Private family services are pending.
