May 7, 1933 - January 1, 2014 Beloved husband, father, brother passed away January 1, 2014. During many years in the fashion industry, he also taught classes at Otis Parsons and U.C.L.A. extension. He studied gerontology and became a social service director at a senior care facility. He was an active member of the Los Angeles Department of Aging, and a past president of the organization. He served as a member of the California Senior Legislature both in the Assembly and Senate, and head of the Joint Rules Committee. Ed was a consultant and field representative to the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. He also served as a member of the Oversight Committee of Mission College. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, and children, Elissa, Craig and wife Leela, David and partner, Robert, brother Albert and many other loving family members and friends. Ed's love of the arts, keen wit, positive attitude, and service to the community will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 pm at Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills (5950 Forest Lawn Dr.).
