February 7, 1956 - July 29, 2014 Elaine died 7/29/14 following a brief illness. Born to the late Bill Kanoskie and to Marilyn Kanoskie in Columbus, Ohio, she moved as a young child, with her family, to Los Angeles and remained a devout Californian until her unexpected death. She graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology and from Antioch University with a Master's degree in Psychology. Working in various non-profit agencies, her most recent professional position was as Executive Director of Women's Care Cottage, providing services to homeless women and their children. Elaine is survived by the love of her life, husband Greg Wessels, mother Marilyn, sister Judy (Warren Galloway), step-son Mathew (Susie), her two grandchildren whom she adored, Ethan and Sophia, and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, August 3, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
