July 2, 1915 - February 2, 2014 Henry Cahn, 98 years old, of Los Angeles, passed away after a brief illness. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut where his family had lived for five generations. A 1936 graduate of Yale, he served as a decorated officer under General Stillwell on the famous Burma Road campaign during World War II. Henry is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, with whom he shared a deep mutual commitment. He had two daughters from a previous marriage, Ellen Cahn and Elizabeth Weiss, and was a devoted parent to Jackie's two daughters, Rebekah Brod and the late Ann Ketover. A memorial will be held at Wilshire Blvd Temple, 3663 Wilshire Boulevard at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 18. His burial will be in Connecticut.
