June 10, 1951 - April 15, 2013
Mary Ann Goodman, 61, died April 15, 2013 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho, of a sudden illness. She was born June 10, 1951 in Burbank, California, the eldest daughter of Adrian B. and Ann (Christenson) Goodman. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She was beautiful, kind, artistic, intelligent and had a great sense of humor. Mary Ann grew up in Encino, California. She graduated from Birmingham High School, Van Nuys, California in 1969. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art and in Education at Cal State Northridge and a Master's Degree in Social Work at UCLA. She lived in Ventura and was a teacher at Sequoia Middle School in Newbury Park in the 1970s. For most of the past 30 years, Mary Ann lived in Idaho. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father, four sisters (Elizabeth Brandenburg of Haleiwa, HI; Lynnsey Goodman of San Diego, CA; Christine Nuttall of Thousand Oaks, CA; Diane Langmuir of Palisades, NY), one brother (John Goodman of Sebastopol, CA) and seven nieces and nephews (Jesse, Kelsey, Joe, Robby, Charlie, Elyse, and Molly) whom she loved dearly. Her family cherished her and she will be deeply missed.
Private inurnment services will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, California in May.
