March 31, 1946 - March 20, 2014 Mary, 67, was born in West Medford, MA, daughter of Frederick A. and Elsie Rose Cate Hilsdale. She was the youngest sister and last surviving sibling of James Daniel Hilsdale and Ann Elizabeth Hilsdale Millhouse Thompson. Her family moved to the Los Angeles area in 1951 and in 1952 moved to Westchester where Mary attended Visitation Catholic School and St. Bernard's High School. She received her accounting education from UCLA. In the late 1970s, Mary started working as a tax accountant and soon after purchased the business. She later became business partners with Maureen Costales to form Hilsdale, Costales and Associates. The tax practice continues to operate successfully today in Westchester. In 2003 she married Larry Winters of Caldwell, Idaho, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Westchester, surrounded by family and friends. Mary was an active member of the Westchester community, volunteering frequently at her son's schools, her parish, and as a board member of the Westchester Lariats youth folkdance troupe. Mary is survived by her husband, Larry, 66, her son Michael Hilsdale, 33, and her step-daughter Tiffany Moore, 32. She also leaves behind nephew Dan Millhouse, niece Sheri Helmuth, and many cousins across the country. Mary was greatly loved by her friends and family, but no more so than how much she loved them back. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be on March 27 at 1 PM at St. Anastasia, with burial at Holy Cross in Culver City.
