Remembered with love by Evelyn Baran and Alain Cohen, Sheila Baran Spiwak and Alan Spiwak, Gloria Baran, Aaron and Alissa Spiwak, Sarah and Josh Gelbart.
Milton was deeply devoted to Judaism, Tzedakah and family. He had such wonderful memories of growing up in Boyle Heights with his beloved parents, Max and Anna, and brother, Ben. Proud graduate of UCLA - Class of 1942. Worked at our family business, Southwestern Bag Company (started by his father in 1924), for some 70 years.
Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Jewish Home for the Aging and Skirball Hospice for their incredible care and compassion. We would like to especially acknowledge Milton's caregivers, Nava Vardi and Josephine Athieno, JFS Social Worker Orly Burg and Rabbi Sheldon Pennes for their kindness and support.
Private services were held. If you would like to make a donation in Milton's memory, please consider one of the causes close to his heart - Tomchei Shabbos, Jewish Free Loan, Jewish Family Service or Builders of Jewish Education.
