December 26, 1919 - May 25, 2014 Norman Leonard Millard passed away peacefully in Encinitas, CA after dealing with both blood and heart disorders, and dementia, Norm is now in a happier place, joining his daughter Judith Ann, his sister Irene Pesch, and his mother Rose. He is survived by his devoted wife Janet, his sons Chris and Scott, his grandchildren Westin, Ally, and Dustin, his sister Gladys, and many nephews and nieces. Norm was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, was raised in Erie Pennsylvania, and lived in Brentwood, a suburb of Los Angeles for over 60 years. He was drafted into the Army Air Corps at the end of World War II, received a bachelors degree from Colorado University, and a masters degree from UCLA. Norm was a devoted engineer for the aerospace industry and the U.S. Government for over 45 years. Thank you for being such a wonderful father, husband, and grandpa. We will always love you and will be dearly missed.
