Born in Havana, Cuba. Received Degrees: B.F.A. Architecture, University of Florida & M.A. Planning & Urbanism, Universidad Autonoma De Mexico. As architect, designer & urban planner in New York City, he worked with Edward Durell Stone on The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; with Skidmore Owings & Merrill, & 1971 Worlds Fair, Osaka,Japan, Californa Projects included NASA, ABC Music Division, Brickell Bay Tower in Miami for The Luckman Partnership. He co-founded Alpha Design Partnership in 1983. Civic and Cultural Participation included Chairman of the South Park Task Force for CRA, a member of the City of Los Angeles 13th Council District Design Review Committee. Also a Board Member of Barnsdall Art Park, The Hollywood Arts Council and the Melrose Hill HPOZ Board. He was also a member of MOCA's Architecture and Design Council. For the City's Cultural Affairs Department, he served on the Executive Committee for Presencia Cubana Festival in Echo Park and Co-chaired A Taste of Hollywood For the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. He died at 75 at home on April 11, 2014. He is survived by 3 children, his wife and partner for 45 years. Memorial to be announced.
