DIXON, Ralph Walter Was reunited with his loving wife, Lorraine, in Heaven on March 1, 2013, loving father of Denise (Mark) Swanigan, Elaine (Doug) Hanson, Annette (Art) Fernandez and the late Kevin Dixon, granddad of six, great granddad of one. Proud graduate of The University of Notre Dame. Ralph served as an Air Force Lieutenant both in WWII in the Army Air Corps 24th Bomb Squadron and during the Korean War in the Air Force 731st Bombardment Group (Light, Night Attack). In his professional life, he was involved in America's pioneering aerospace programs, including the Stealth Project. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1345 Turnbull Canyon Road, Hacienda Heights, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. John Vianney are welcome, as Ralph was a founding member.
