March 5, 1938 - November 21, 2013 Stella Nadelman Krieger passed away surrounded by family including her beloved husband of 53 years, Dr. Fred Krieger, her adoring children (Lauren Krieger of Santa Monica, Spencer Krieger of South Pasadena, Terry Krieger of Long Beach, and Alissa Krieger-DeWitt of Truro, MA), and many of her nine grandchildren. She was 75 years old. Stella was born in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA in 1960. Stella and Fred formed an important collection of art and objects from around the world, including Mexican silver, beaded handbags, rugs and textiles. Over the past 20 years, Stella served as museum store manager at the Craft and Folk Art Museum and the Fowler Museum at UCLA. Donations: Nashuva.com, Fowler.ucla.edu, and Yiddishkayt.org
