James B. Crutcher

James was one of four children born to Fenton and Alice Crutcher in Fort Smith, Arkansas. His parents and two sisters, Sandra and Stasha, preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Robert; and sister-in-law, Norma; his wife of 50 years, Joanne; his children, son Gary and daughter-in-law Maria, and daughter Laurie and son-in-law Samuel; his two grandchildren, Matthew and Emilie; and his dog, Gilbert. James served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Princeton and fought in the Vietnam War. He later worked for the Long Beach Naval Shipyard (35 years). After his retirement, he spent time doing his favorite thing, which was fishing. James will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery August 29, 2013 at 10:00am.
