Thomas Taylor

(72) of Long Beach passed away on January 6, 2014 from a short battle with cancer. Tom is survived by his children, Todd Taylor and Carrie Moore; grandchildren, Jack and Katherine Taylor, and Henry, Abby and Owen Moore. Tom served as a police officer on the Long Beach Police department beginning in 1966 and retired as a sergeant in 1999. After retiring he started his private investigative service Taylor & Associates, which occupied his time in between golf games. Tom was an amazingly dedicated Father and Papa who would never miss any event involving his grandkids. He also enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends, telling his stories and making people laugh. His passing creates a void for us all and he will forever be missed. Services are scheduled for January 24th. For more information please email Carrie at familymoore5@yahoo.com. Please sign the guestbook at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
