Wilson Ahuna died peacefully in his sleep and at his home on January 4, 2014. Born in Kona, Hawaii as one of 8 children, Wilson grew up in Kaneohe and was part of the last graduating class from Benjamin Parker in 1950. He served in the Coast Guard before moving to California and spending the majority of his 81 years in Norwalk where he established his home and his family. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, hitting a winning jackpot in Las Vegas, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife Ayame, their 5 children, 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and one brother. Wilson was very proud of his family and would have sacrificed anything for them. He worked hard all his life and can now rest and be free of his recent physical limitations. His family would like to thank everyone for the caring, support, and love you shared with Wilson. We will miss him and are grateful for all the memories we have and all the lessons we learned. No memorial services are planned at this time. Please sign the guestbook at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
