Charles W. Neubaum LEBANON Charles "Chuck" W. Neubaum, 69, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Manor Care of Lebanon. He was the husband of Margaret "Peggy" (Stahler) Neubaum. He was born in Harrisburg, on January 19, 1943, and was the son of the late Charles August and Cora (Emminger) Neubaum. Charles was a corporal in the United States Marine Corps serving during the Bay of Pigs. He retired from the Harrisburg City Police Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg. He was a member of the Capital City FOP Lodge #12; a life member of 49'ers Camping Association; and a proud Eagle Scout; He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing trips with his lovely wife. In addition to his wife, surviving his memory are a son, Charles W. Neubaum and wife, Angela of Lemoyne; a daughter, Kristen Ventura and husband, Andrew of Lebanon; a granddaughter, Sarah Grace Ventura; cousins, Jerry and Dennis Lego, and Nancy Kiser. Visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Pine Street Presbyterian Church, 310 N. Third St., Harrisburg 17101 with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Downtown Daily Bread, 310 N. Third St., Harrisburg, PA 17101; or to the Capital City Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #12, 114 Walnut St., Harrisburg, 17101.
