Christ S. Haldeman Obituary
Christ S. Haldeman DENVER Christ S. Haldeman, 93, died at home Thursday, August 22, 2013. Born in Deodate, Dauphin Co., he was a son of the late Christian H. and Katie (Scheaffer) Haldeman. A WWII Army corporal, he worked for High Concrete, Denver, was a life member of Reinholds VFW, and an avid Phillies fan. Surviving are companions, Ruth and "Buster"; children, Doris E. (David) Lutz of Reinholds, William C. Haldeman of Reading, Diane E. (George) Dionysious of Ephrata, David P. (Shirley) Haldeman of Denver, and Robert L. (Debbie) Haldeman of Adamstown; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Alice Levengood of Schaefferstown, Betty Peiffer of Myerstown, Merle Haldeman of Dubois, and George Haldeman of Monaca. He was predeceased by a son, John; and siblings, Florence Rittle, Marian Fernsler, and Phares and Joseph Haldeman. Services will be Wednesday, August 28, at 10 a.m. from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown. Burial with military honors in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata.
