David L. Baylor, Sr. LEBANON David L "Butch" Baylor, Sr., 76, died on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Cedar Haven. He was born on Friday, December 11, 1936, to the late Paul Baylor and Verna Baylor nee Haldeman in Lebanon. He was an active member of Grace United Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Air Force in the Korean Conflict. He was a mechanic for the Steel Foundry. David enjoyed bowling and small engine repair. He was a fire policeman for Weavertown Fire Company. Surviving are wife, Marilyn J. Baylor nee Brightbill; children, David L. Jr., spouse of Rosemarie Baylor, Kathy, spouse of Charles Elliott, Danny, spouse of Patricia A. Baylor, Dale, spouse of Lisa Baylor, and Lisa Strickler; stepdaughter, Teresa Loser; stepson, George Sholly; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Glen Baylor; and sisters, Betsy Espenshade and Rose Beck. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul D. Baylor, Jr. and Thomas Baylor; and sisters, Genevieve Bentz and Patsy Showers. Viewing will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. 5th Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
