Margaret A. Gerberich LEBANON Margaret A. Gerberich, 92, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Clair H. Gerberich, who passed away in 1983. Born in Pleasant Run, N.J., on September 30, 1920, she was the daughter of the late David C. and Marie E. Daneke Cole. Margaret attended Penn State and got her Master's degree at Millersville University. Before her retirement, she had been an elementary school teacher for the Northern Lebanon School District. Margaret was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jonestown. She enjoyed quilting, reading, gardening, bird watching, puzzles, cooking, and watercolor painting. She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Culbert and Thomas Griffith of St. Paul, Minn., Ruth Wagner and Harvey Witmer of Middletown, Linda Toth and Jim Cascarino of Jonestown, and Patricia, wife of James Kessler of Apollo Beach Fla.; grandchildren, Kristin Winters, Dawn Eldridge, Darla Parmer, Gregory Kessler, Kelly Penix, and Amanda Toth; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, David C. Cole of Orlando, Fla. She was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Cole, and a sister, Dorothy Senecal. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. from Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 103 E. Market St., Jonestown. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
