William J. Nebinger LEBANON William J. Nebinger, 82, died Monday, January 21, 2013, in the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tremont. He was the husband of the late Anne Lawfer Nebinger. He was born on September 1, 1930, in Red Lion, son of the late Bruce and Edith Strawbridge Nebinger. He was a 1947 graduate of Red Lion High School and a 1951 graduate of Gettysburg College. Mr. Nebinger served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Korean Service Medal and the United Nation Service Medal. He also served as a member of the Lebanon VFW Post #23 Honor Guard Unit. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his step-children, Rosemary and husband Rick Baylor, Annville; Robert Ferry and wife Joanna Goodwin, N.J.; Miriam and husband Rudi Grimm, Calif.; Joanne and husband Ronnie Carter, Del.; Stephen Ferry and wife Cyndi, Texas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be made in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Lebanon VFW Post #23. Please omit flowers.
