Frank W. Hockley LEBANON Frank W. Hockley, 87, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at VA Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1926, to the late Fred G. Hockley and Bessie Hockley nee Keller in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the Navy, having served in World War II. Frank graduated from LVC and earned his Masters Degree from Penn State. He was a teacher at Milton Hershey, Harding Junior High School, and Lebanon High School. Frank enjoyed golf, traveling, crossword puzzles, Philadelphia sports, Penn State, played football and basketball for LHS, and was an avid reader. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Annville Legion, Elks, and TPA. Surviving are son, Frank W. Jr., spouse of Susan Hockley; daughter, Karen, spouse of William Woodruff; grandchildren, Matthew Woodruff and Megan Woodruff; sisters, Bessie Evans and Grace Ulrich; brother-in-law, Carl, spouse of Sharon Jagnow; sister-in-law, Nancy, spouse of Fred VanWinkle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Hockley nee Jagnow; two brothers; and three sisters. Viewing will be on Friday, November 8, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
