Agnes Lucille Turner Emery Maple Valley, WA Agnes Lucille Turner Emery, 82, died from complications of pulimary fibrosis on October 16, 3013 in Maple Valley, Washington. Agnes was born on July 6, 1931 to Mac and Marie Turner in Williamston, MI and lived most of her life there. She was a graduate of Williamston High School class of 1949 and earned her teaching degree from Michigan State University. She was part of a popular 3rd grade duo with fellow teacher, Caryn Welter, at Central Elementary in Okemos until her retirement in 1993. In 1952 Agnes married fellow Spartan Don Emery. They enjoyed many years of Spartan tailgating, traveling the USA and Europe, along with many other social activities. He preceded her in death in 1988. Agnes relocated to Maple Valley, WA in 1995 to be closer to her daughter Ellen and her family. She was involved in many community activities while there. Agnes is survived by son David of Arlington Texas and his daughters Christine (JC) and Denise. Daughter Ellen and her daughters Elizabeth and Emily. Great grandchildren Cameron, Coco, Bella, Vanessa and Rylee. Brother Bill Turner of Williamston and his children Mike, Sue, Peggy and Dan. Funeral services were held in Maple Valley, WA on October 19. The family would like to invite local friends to a celebration of Agnes' life on Sunday, November 24 from 1:00-4:00 at the Brookshire Inn in Williamston
