Bryan Lynn Stewart Age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was born on March 6, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan. He was a longtime resident of Lansing, and spent his retirement years in Bonita Springs, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Linda Stewart; four loving children, Lisa Mulcahy (Darin), Chad Stewart (Kimberly), Bryan Stewart (Jill), and Katie Stewart; his sister, Leeanna Edwards (Merrill); and his grandchildren, Colin, Lauren, Mason, Kendal, Braeden, Kaelen and Bryan; and is proceeded in death by his mother, Gladys Horning and father, James Stewart. Bryan graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1967. He went on to Michigan State University and graduated in 1972 with a degree in Psychology. Following graduation, he took a job at the State of Michigan where he was employed until retirement as Manager of Foster Care in 2002. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. He had a very kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at St. Gerard's, 4437 West Willow Highway, on Friday January 11th at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow the mass.
