Charles R. Green "Charley" Lansing Charles R. Green, 95, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2014. Born in Chinook, MT on July 11, 1918, the son of Harry and Mable (Richmond) Green. He was honorably discharged after serving 3-1/2 years in the European Theatre during World War II. He had a 60 year career in real estate and was Past President of the Greater Lansing Assoc. of Realtors. He was Past President of the Board of Trustees for the Lansing Volunteers of America, a member of Masonic Lodge #33, Scottish Rite of Grand Rapids, Elks Lodge #196, VFW of Jackson, and the Lansing Country Club. He loved hunting, fishing, skiing, and golfing but mostly loved being with his family. Survivors are his loving wife of nearly 72 years Marian (Bell) Green; son Rick (Coral) Green; grandchildren Zane and Jessie Green; sister Rosemond Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
