Christian John "Chris" Rouser Lansing Passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at age 77. Born October 16, 1936 to Maynard and Gladys Rouser in Lansing, Michigan. Chris honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He went on to work as a driver for General Motors where he would later retire. He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Parish. Chris loved animals and enjoyed watching his Detroit Tigers baseball. Preceding him in death were his father, Maynard Rouser; mother, Gladys Hanson; step-father, Harold Hanson; brother-in-law, Robert Nichols and his beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Katie. Surviving are his wife, of 50 years, Jeanette Rouser; daughter, Cindy (Ned) Devereaux; grandchildren, Miranda Devereaux, Jake (Taylor Bruder) Devereaux; sisters, Evelyn Nichols, Patricia (David) Houseman as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Casimir Catholic Parish, 815 Sparrow Ave. Lansing, MI 48910.
