Clyde Hensley, Jr. Mason Born December 19, 1942 in Gage, KY, the son of the late Osie and Nellie (Pugh) Hensley, passed away June 21, 2013 at the age of 70. Clyde enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing and boating and was an avid Detroit Tigers and NASCAR racing fan. He retired from Mason Public Schools after many years of service and was the voice at Mason football games. He also was the former Men's Auxiliary Club President for VFW Post 7309. Clyde will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron; son Tony and grandson, Dustin. Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara; daughters, Tammie Hensley and Terrie Hensley; sons, Tim Hensley, Thomas (Jennifer) Hensley and Shannon Williams; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Mason First Church of the Nazarene, 415 E. Maple, Mason, MI with Rev. Wesley B. Emerson officiating. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Men's Auxiliary VFW Post 7309, 1243 Hull Rd., Mason, MI 48854 in memory of Clyde.
