Dareld C. Cunningham "Jaxon" Dimondale Age 89, passed away Feb. 15, 2013. He began his journey in Woodland, MI, with 3 brothers and attended school there. He served in the US Army during WWII, with the 502nd Medical Corp in Europe. He returned home to his wife and moved to Lansing, then to a farm in Windsor Twp. He farmed and was a mechanic at Hansen's Studebaker, and Associated Truck Lines, retiring from Central Ford Truck, as their diesel specialist. He had been a very active member at Parker Memorial, Millet, and currently Community Baptist churches, ministering as a SS Supt., deacon, and faithful teacher. He assisted other churches with bus repair, provided hayrides and numerous other services at other Lansing churches. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Rosie; son, Charles; grandson, Keith; wife, Peggy; brothers, Arnold (Audra) and Ronald. He is survived by a brother, Dale (Nancy) Cunningham of Lake Odessa; children: Yvonne (Larry) Baker of DeForest WI, Nancy of Lansing, Gary of Hastings, and daughter-in-law, Chris of Dimondale; step-children, Jim (Kay) Landfair of Kalamazoo and Tim (Judy) Landfair of Holt; grandchildren, Steve (Sheila) Baker, Brian Cunningham, Bryan (Doreen) Cagle, Lara Baker, Andy (Kaydee) Baker and Tony Baker; several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 11:00-12:00 at the Community Baptist Church, 7832 E Mt Hope Hwy, Grand Ledge, with the Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 noon with Rev. Dr. Donald Green and Pastor Tim Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Baptist Church. Condolences can be made at www.palmerbush.com.
