Hilary J. Fedewa Lansing Age 92, our loving husband, father grandfather, and great-grandfather went home to his Lord on December 16, 2013. Born May 28, 1921 in Westphalia, MI. Hilary was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII. He retired in 1983 from General Motors Plant 3 after 38 years of service. He was a longtime faithful member of St. Gerard Church, serving as an alter server, and bingo worker. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Richard Council #788. He enjoyed, gardening, playing cards, following sports, golfing, bowling, and swimming with the Waverly 39ers. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Roseline R. Fedewa; 5 children, Garrett (Rebecca) Fedewa, Carol (Douglas) Salisbury, Colleen (Patrick) Plunkett, Roy (Terry) Fedewa, and Bruce (Deanna) Fedewa; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Stan Fedewa; 4 sisters, Sally (Lou) Kramer, Vi MacDonald, Ibe Backman, and Janie (Carl) Bollman; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Hilary was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Margaret Fedewa; and sister, Marc Pierce. Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Friday with a 7:00 P.M. Vigil service and Knights of Columbus Chalice Service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 21, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at church.
