JG "Bud" Hoffmeyer Lansing Age 79, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2012. Bud was born in Homer, MI on January 14, 1933 to Kenneth and Reta (Gilbert) Hoffmeyer. He was owner of Hoffmeyer HVAC and is a former member of Sheet Metal Local #7 (360) in Lansing. Bud is a Veteran of the US Air Force (Korea), a Lifetime Member of the Loyal Order of Moose, a member of the Capital of S.O. 66, Free and Accepted Masons, and a former Boy Scout Leader. He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Reta Hoffmeyer of Lansing, his brother William R. Hoffmeyer of Holland, MI, his sister Nancy Serr of Lansing and his infant son J Gilbert Hoffmeyer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Penny (Bartlett) Hoffmeyer of Lansing, his children Charles (Shelly) of St. Johns, Micheal (Roxanne Hager) of Holt, Richard (Bridget Bernadette) of Mason, Karen (Scott) Ritchie of Louisville, KY, William (Kelly) of Cookeville, TN, sister Shirley (Hoffmeyer-Duncan) Maybee of Lansing, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was active his entire life and enjoyed spending time at the lake, traveling with family, and helping others. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Skinner Funeral Home, 101 W.
